 Helicopter Landing

There was a fire close to my house a while back and I was just looking through the photos today. I found a great sequence of photos of a helicopter landing. I couldn't get the photos to upload to Blogstream so if you want to see them, go to:

You did a good job getting that, Gezunda. It's a nice sequence. At first, it looked like the copter was going to clip the electrical wires and maybe that is what caused the fire by your house! I love getting photos that I can put together in a sequence, however, mine are usually abstract as of late.

I love sequences of photos too, Lynn. I think the fire was deliberately lit. Most of them are. Idiots who like to watch. this one was too close to home for my liking that's for sure. it's amazing what a bit of photography can do to take your mind off worrying

They're amazing photo's Gezunda. In one of them it looks like the helicopter is going to fly into the power lines. Really good bit of photography!!

I'm rather pleased with them myself. I've got more of the fire itself and the helicopters dousing it with water, but haven't done anything with them yet. Maybe the next blog. Thanks, Kazza Bear.

Great sequence of photo's. Like Lynn i thought the copter looked like it was going to catch the power lines.

Hey Kahless. Starting to think of the fire ones now. All I got was smoke, but got some great photos of the helicopters dropping their load of water in the smoke.
